School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results for 2069-70 gets published today by the Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE). Only 47.16 per cent students passed the SLC exam which is often referred to as “The Iron Gate in Nepal”. This is less than last year’s pass percentage which was 55.5.
According to the data released by Controller of Examinations (OCE) board in a press conference; 17,760 achieved distinction, while 77,257 passed in the first division; 93,830 in second division and the rest 8,791 in third division.

528,257 candidates –445,974 under regular category and 82,283 under exempted category– had appeared for the SLC exams that were taken in March this year.
